Checkout - 2 Weeks + 1 Week Renewal (no Renewals for Browse books or popular titles)
Lost Item Fees - $10.00 processing fee + replacement cost of item (as determined by the Library)

Students may not check out Reference items, but may scan or copy as needed within Fair Use guidelines.

Reserves

Checkout - 2 hours, in-library use only (or as specified by the instructor)
Overdue Fines - 25 cents per hour (or as designated)

Equipment

Faxing - Full-service, cover sheet required. 25 cents per local page, 50 cents per long-distance page, $3 per international page.
Lamination - Full-service. $1 per page (up to 8.5"x 11").
Copying - Self-service, single-sided or double-sided. 10 cents per black-and-white page, 40 cents per color page.
Scanning - Self-service, to JPEG or PDF formats. Free.

Suggest a Purchase - Want to see a particular item in our library? Use our Suggest a Purchase form to request that we add the resource.

Research Appointments - Use our Research Appointments online form to make an appointment for a personal research consultation with a librarian. We can meet with students in person, by web conference, or by phone during library hours.

Interlibrary Loan & Information Delivery - If we don't have a book or article you need, we will find a library that does. Visit our Info Request & ILL page to view terms and conditions and submit a request for an item.

Nursing Nook - The Nursing Nook is a private room for nursing mothers who are faculty, staff, or students. Please ask at the front desk to check out the key.

Atlanta Regional Council for Higher Education (ARCHE) - If information a student needs for academic study is only available at an ARCHE library, we may issue the student an ARCHE card for privileges at one of twenty consortium libraries.

Electronic thesis/dissertation repository - Brenau University archives its graduate theses/dissertations through ProQuest Dissertations & Theses, which is the official digital repository of theses/dissertations for the Library of Congress. The collection includes work by authors from more than 1,700 graduate schools and universities the world over and covers every conceivable subject. Every major research university in the United States and Canada is represented in the database, and there is also growing international coverage.
